- Born 15 November 1951 in Menton, France close to the Italian border - I spent my childhood in West Africa (Ivory Coast) and North Africa (Tunisia) - I went back to France in 1968 - I got my driving licence on December 1969, and in 1971, the dream comes true : I buy my first Beetle : a 1200 1964 in a very good condition. Next year I bought a Type 3 1500S 1965 as well as a Convertible Karmann Ghia 1962 for almost nothing : those cars were not popular in France at this time ! - 1974, I went to Paris to get a job, 26 years later I am still living in Paris. - I owned a 1302 1972 in 1977, a 1303 Big 1974 in 1978, a 1200 Jeans in 1978... and for 19 years I didn't drive a Beetle ! I purchase a Porsche Carrera 3.2 1989 in 1992 and in 1997 I bought a 1303 Big same as the one I had in 1974 ! Today I am driving a 1999 New Beetle but I want to go back to the "real" Beetle ! - I worked in the computer field since 1974, I set up a company in 1985 which imported US software, I have sold the company some years ago and now I am still in the computer business providing services (software) to companies. - I have created the Beetle shop in Paris in September 1996 with the goal to set up the largest VW models database on the Internet !
